Roll Together LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Georgia(“Roll Together,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the Roll Together mobile and web application (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information: name, email address, password, profile photo, city, and sport preferences.
- Profile details: display name, bio, group memberships, and membership tier.
- User-generated content: messages in chat rooms, feed posts, poll responses, ride RSVP status, safety hazard reports, and photos you upload.
- Payment information: billing details processed securely through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store raw card numbers.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and interaction events.
- Device information: browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and IP address.
- Location: city-level location used to surface local rolls and events. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly share it in a safety hazard report.
- Push notification tokens: if you enable push notifications, we store your device token to deliver notifications.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate your account and ensure security.
- Deliver chat messages, roll updates, notifications, and feed content.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Personalize your experience (e.g., showing rolls in your city and sport).
- Send service-related communications (account confirmations, security alerts).
- Respond to your support requests.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising.
3. How We Share Your Information
- Other users: your display name, profile photo, and content you post in chat rooms or the community feed are visible to other members of those spaces.
- Service providers: we share data with third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), and Sentry (error monitoring). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Roll Together, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: if Roll Together is acquired or merges with another entity, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you beforehand.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us (see Section 7) — in-app account deletion is coming soon. Chat messages and feed posts you delete are removed from our active database; however, brief residual copies may persist in backups for up to 30 days.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest via Supabase, and row-level security policies that ensure users can only access data they are authorized to see. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to enable two-factor authentication if available.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies solely for authentication (session tokens) and to remember your preferences (city, sport selection). We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: update inaccurate or incomplete information through your profile settings.
- Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing us. In-app account deletion is coming soon.
- Portability: request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out of notifications: manage push notification preferences in your device settings or account settings.

8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at jaydengardiner@live.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
